Leap Year is about a woman named Anna who races to Dublin to propose to her boyfriend on February 29, the one day every four years that she can Propose. On her way to Dublin, she runs into some technical difficulties. Weather and many other setbacks challenge her devotion as she desperately makes her way to her boyfriend. On the way, she meets a rude but sweet innkeeper named Declan. Declan offers her a ride, and she hastily accepts it, having no idea what she is getting into. Finally, after the treacherous journey, she realizes that her boyfriend was going to propose to her, but only because he had to. Then she sees that she has feelings for Declan… The plot thickens…

This movie was actually a lot better than I expected. It was one of those times where your mom is dead set on seeing a sappy chick flick but you really wanted to see something else, but unfortunately, theres not really a choice. Reluctantly, I walked into the movie theater, but I ended up enjoying the movie more than she did! It was a great story, and the characters were very likable…especially Declan. One of my favorite attributes was how as the movie progressed, you learned things about each person that just seemed to complicate the story.  Overall, it was a GREAT movie, even if slightly predictable…. I would suggest it for a family movie night, or just something to watch by yourself.

Sorry for the super short review… not much to say on this movie really. Kinda just a average love story… Still
